The title's been announced for the next haripotpot book:  Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.


Another thing to watch out for is Spielberg's take on HG Wells' The War of the Worlds.

Fans have yet to recover from everything that was revealed during the Edinburgh International Book Festival, and already, JKRowling has sprung another surprise on us.
 
The door in the website can be opened once again, this time, to reveal a very short excerpt from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.    If you need help opening the door in the website, here are some easy instructions:
 
-  Go to:  http://www.jkrowling.com
 
-  Click on the black ponytail on the main page.

-  Click on the door handle.  The door opens to a black room.

-  There is a lightswitch you must click around for.  A helpful fan has posted this image to help others  find the lightswitch:

-  A dartboard appears. Use each of the three darts to hit 7, then 1, then 3  (713 is the number of a significant Gringott's vault.  Do you remember what it is?  Heheheh.)

-  A safe appears. The code there is 302723. This code was revealed in the website's Extra Stuff page.  You just have to wait for Peeves to reveal a calling card on the corkboard for Gobb Lynn Security Services.  The company's phone number is the safe's security code.  Here's a screencap I took of the calling card.

-  The safe will open.  Click on the paper, wait for it to unroll, and read the excerpt!  =)

Wooo.  So who do you think is she describing?  Personally, I don't think she's describing the Half Blood Prince.

This is literally a very short excerpt. Bitiin!!! Are you sure there's nothing more to this? I tried to access the site pero ang bagal ng ISP ko kaya tagal magload, tinamad na ako. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers. Any idea on the tentative release of the sixth book?

who is the half blood prince? letsee.. im supposing this person is of muggle descent kasi hindi pure blood.. hmm .. lets take a look at the previous titles so far:


book 1 - HP & the sorcerer's stone


book 2 - HP & the chamber of secrets


book 3 - HP & the prisoner of azkaban


book 4 - HP & the goblet of fire


book 5 - HP & the order of the phoenix


book 6 - HP & the half blood prince


hmm.. may nakikita ba kayo? ako wala pa e.. hehe.. tell me kung meron kayo. except book 3, all the other titles are HP + an object / thing. este, book 3 and 6 pala yung may tao na kasama. im supposing the half blood prince is some new character with a great role to play in the story. or he could be voldemort. or maybe, its sirius black, resurrected (tho pure blood wizard sya) with regards to sirius, i think he didnt die, and he is coming back in book 6 and 7.

my brother's just received book 6, which he ordered from barnes & noble. and now, i better reset gmail filter for the words Harry, Potter, Half-blood, etc in case he lets slip major spoilers.

sad sad sad...  this book may be the funniest yet, but it's also the saddest... and 2 years pa bago lumabas ang 7th and last installment ng haripotpot!
