Tungkol sa capes: Bakit kailangan ng cape? Oo nga, astig tingnan pag may cape lalo habang lumilipad (ex: Supes). Pero hindi ba nagiging distraction yun?


Batman for example, the guy has a looong cape, hindi ba niya naapakan ang cape niya at nadadapa? Batman does many kinds of stuff like jumping and beating bad guys, doesn't he get wrapped by his own cape? Makes me think...

Well, Henyo hindi naman dapat sineseryoso ang mga bagay na iyan. Comic books & stories written in the medium are not meant to be taken that seriously & should be read in the spirit of fun. The moment na sineryoso mo ang comic books at nilagyan mo ng stuff like political statements, beliefs, religion & so on & so forth, mawawala ang sense of fun niya & integrity as an entertainment medium. It is best that you approach it with this perspective in mind. Just my two cents regarding the matter.

Haven't you ever thought that the superheroes get their powers from their costumes?  Why else would they make themselves look ridiculous?! (Nakuha ko tong kaisipan na ito sa Spongebob Squarepants...)


OR... They probably wear spandex for practical reasons.  Tipid sa tela.  Sa sobrang dami ba namang beses na nasisira yung costume nila... magastos.
