Since Ideas naman dito. Just thought of something to update ourselves with what is new in the world. Technology has made such great advancements. like the telephone becoming mobile, sending text messages, having graphics, having colored screens, playing music, playing games, capturing images, taking videos, connecting to the net and so on...
So what's the latest now? food, drinks, clothes, media, technology...
Most of the strides, I feel, have been on the technology front. As far as clothes, food, and music are concerned, I feel that this decade is still pretty similar to the 90s. An arguable point, I admit, but something I can contend with.
As far as tech goes, the sky seems to be the limit at this point. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 5MP cameraphone hit the local market next year, and I wouldn't be surprised if entire cities in Metro Manila become Wi-Fi capable. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a desktop PC that ships with a 500GB hard drive next year as well. Given the quality and size of the games coming out, and the increasing availability of media over the web, trust me, 500G still won't be enough.
In my field, they have come up with video cameras that don't use tapes anymore, but instead comes with a hard drive. I'm more excited about the Panasonic videocam cam that shoots HD-quality video and stores them on flash drives. That camera will change the way we work, bar none. And need I mention all the Digital SLRs in the market, the Mac laptops more powerful than most video editing computers, and all the software available to the average media practitioner? The rules in my field have changed overnight because of all these advancements, and I'm doing all I can to keep up. So far so good.
Which brings me to my point. It's a foregone conclusion that the tech available to us will keep getting better and better with every passing month. The real issue here is that this tech is changing the way we live, the way we conduct business, the way we spend our leisure time, and the way we manage our personal affairs (Hello, Friendster!). The challenge now is to take advantage of this new tech and see how it can better our current situation.
i'm still waiting for old tech tablet pcs to drop in prices sufficiently for me to get one. old 2nd hand models being available locally. imagine drawing your comics straight on the monitor, while sipping coffee in your fave cafe.
yup. 1000 dollars per P2 card. don't know kung gaano sya kalaki.

It looks great. I don't know if it's better than w950i. Anyhow, I will not be surprised if Microsoft will suddenly announce na may phones na din sila. Have you checked the Zune? It looks great atnd at its price.. 30 gig @ 15thousand ain't so steep.

iLike an iPhone myself, too. But it looks costly for myself. :D
Is this their final installment to the whole iPod series? Most of their earlier models are considered obsolete, due to the fact that they release a new one after one or a few months.
