Just tell the parents the truth, if what you said about them being reasonable, i don't see why they won't let you go. explain to them what komikon is about. im sure during their time, they read comics too. so better if you bring them along with you so they can see where exactly you are going and what it is you are doing. Besides, the komikon will start at 10 and end by 7 but that doesn't mean you'll have to be there the whole day. of course, that will be more fun, pero if you don't have much time, you can stay for an hour or so.

btw, just noticed that you keep speaking in jap and kor or whatever. the people here would like to learn so better if you put translation, di ba?
