Well I really like Natural High, Next Level, Sipol, Urbandub, Brownman Revival, Parokya ni Edgar, Itchyworms, Southborder, K24/7, Bamboo (though there are too much fill-ins in Aleluya) and Barbies Cradle when it comes to local. But I respect all Filipino musicians.
I like Evanescence, Karizma, Bon Jovi, Mint Condition, G3, Planet X, Audioslave, Fort Minor, Allman Brothers, Goverment Mule, Tower of Power, Santana and a whole lot more.
@eastydie: Personally, both. There must be harmony in music. The lyrics of a song is the expression and the tone, along with the other aspects, sets the mood (though there are a lot of great songs with no lyrics, instrumentals). =D
For me, it's best to be flexible with genres. I listen to different genres. Even to those that are considered baduy. This way I learn more about music. =D
@kuya jot: About the band name, suggest ko magmeet kayo ng band niyo and agree on a name. =D.
