Sa local... Glen - Eddie Peregrina Alan - Dindo Fernando Bryan - Panchito Boopey - Nova Villa Dana - Mary Walter Harry - Bayani Casimiro Sr. Jay - Pancho Magalona Jimmy - Eddie Garcia Andrea - Gloria Romero Fe - Boots Anson-Roa Cow - Leopoldo Salcedo
I haven't been able to cast the foreign cast, but I'm sure I want David Hasslehoff to play me.
As for the all-Beerkadets cast... (God, why?!?) Glen - L Alan - L Bryan - L Boopey - L Dana - L Harry - L Jay - L Jimmy - L Andrea - L Fe - L Cow - computer-generated
Think of the savings!

Well, well, well... Look who's back.
Well, you've got fourteen days to come up with something. And please make it interesting. Last I checked, this was supposed to be a grill, and I haven't even broken a sweat yet! I'm counting on you!
This goes out for everybody: Drop the kiddie gloves and SLAM me! Come ON!
Yes, but change won't happen anytime soon. Too much bulls**t is integrated in the system that it will take lifetimes to clean up. It's much worse abroad, though.
Who is your favorite Harry Potter character? and Why?
Sirius Black. Too bad he's dead.
Are you watching F1 racing? Who is your bet?
I don't get to watch F1, so I don't have any educated bets here.
How about Rugby? Do you like it?
Rugby is cool. You probably have to be a bit sadomasochist to play this game, though. Had loads of fun watching the Hong Kong Sevens last April. I have an article about it in the latest issue of MANUAL Magazine.
Given the chance to have an afterlife, what kind of flower you want to be?
Fraggle Rock wrote: ano yung song na sana ikaw yung gumawa. yung tipong, "hey, i should've/could've made that song".
Wala.
Cueshe. Yick!
who is the funniest foreign comedian? and his suckiest movie.
Chris Rock, and it would have to be that movie with Anthony Hopkins.
what type of religion ang best para sa yo?
There is no such thing as a "best" religion. As long as your religion of choice makes you a better man, then that's good enough. For the record, I'm a Roman Catholic. A practicing Roman Catholic. And I'm proud to be one.
ano ang favorite mong sharon cuneta movie?
P.S. I Love You
kung may fad kang pauusuhin with your body (i.e. patilya for fpj, armband form erap) ano yun?
Udder rings. Wanna see?
Pink, of course.
Why?
do you believe na ang the passion of the christ ang most controversial movie of all time? may iba pa ba dapat?
Oh please! Not even close. The last temptation of Christ was far more controversial, and only because of the premise. In truth, both movies were not controversial at all for me. In fact, I really don't consider any movie I've seen to be "controversial".
kunoichi_kuno wrote: do you think you'd make a good husband? a good father? why or why not?
Yes, I like to think so. I really want to have a family someday. Let's just say I can see myself waking up at 2:43am because the baby's crying. I really can.
if you were to have kids, how many would you like to have? what would you name them?
Three seems to be a good number. Of course, if naming the kids were solely up to me (and it won't be), I'd love to use names like Anthony, Denise, Ricahrd, Catherine, among others. You know, names that sound formal enough, but you could get cool nicknames out of it, too.
what would be the most valuable thing you'd teach your children?
(100% serious) I'll teach them to commute. I'll teach them to eat in a turo-turo and in Shangri-La. I'll teach them to fight. I'll teach them it's okay to cry. I'll teach them that you don't always get what you want, but you should work towards it anyway. And I'll teach them to choose between what's wrong and what's right.
what's the one thing you don't want them to learn?
Oh I want them to learn everything. It's what you do with the knowledge that I'll watch out for.
who has influenced you the most, your dad or mom?
My Mom. My Dad (Bless his soul) was the absentee type.
how is your relationship with your parents? siblings?
Love-Hate, but when somebody needs help, we're all there.
have you done something which your parents/family considered disappointing? what? (i have...)
(I think I know what it is, KK...) Marami, and because this is a grill, I'll share a few. I wasted two years in UP partying, I did drugs, I was drunk practically 24/7, I stole money, I pawned jewelry, I almost got somebody pregnant, and I've beaten somebody up to the point of hospitalization.
And that was the shallow stuff...
I think the major disappointment I've inflicted was to choose to be in my Dad's industry(despite my mother's objection). My dad was so devoted to work, he forgot he had a family. And the same trait runs in my veins. My mom's scared because history might repeat itself. Honestly, so am I.
ever had sibling rivalry? what was the worst sibling fight you've had?
I'm rivals with all of them, hehehe. Well, me and my bro have gotten into the worst fistfights. Think UFC. I'm not kidding.
what kind of things about yourself have you kept secret from your family?
All those items above, they used to be secret. Not anymore.
what do you love and hate about family gatherings?
We don't gather. My Dad's dead, two of my sisters live abroad, my bro floats around, and one other sister lives apart. And we all hate our relatives.

Paano yan, say, if your future partner or kid/s ask you NOT to be in that industry.

it is a common failing to miss the truth of the jest that is spoken in truth
Well, given the fact that I haven't graduated from college yet, I wouldn't know how it feels for mu family to ditch my graduation. But honestly, if I did graduate, I wouldn't even attend my graduation anyway, so it's a bit moot and academic either way.
We're built differently, my siblings and I. Our mother raised us up to be tough, strong and independent, and she did a good job. Too good, actually; now my mom laments that she has to go out of her way to gather us all together, and that we're not as close-knit as other families are. I'd like to believe that we are close to each other, and that we're just not sappy about it. But that's just me.
I don't know what you've been through in your life, but basing on your question, you must have been through some tough sh*t. Some poeple will bitch about it, play "victim" all their lives, and use it as justification for the sh*t they're doing. Some people (including the last person I fell in love with) just keep digging deeper and deeper within themselves, not trusting anyone, not letting anyone in, generally becoming bitter towards the world. And there are those who take the pain, understand it for what it really is, learn from it, then walk away from it all.
Everything happens for a reason. Every experience is an opportunity to learn, to grow, to be stronger, to be better.
So, just in case something like what you just asked actually happened to you, acknowledge that you were hurt, ask yourself why you were hurt, then form the solutions in your head. Then move on. It won't be easy, but ti's better than holding it in.
Of course, if all this didn't happen to you, forget everything I said.
Congratulations. Najanaja is the first person to successfully roast me. You will get a prize from me, as soon as I figure out what it is.
najanaja wrote: Ever did or said something that almost got you in trouble with the law?
Yes, a couple of times. I used to be the getaway driver for my bro's frat. And there was that guy I got hospitalized because I beat him up (he started it, trust me on that). I also once carried enough marijuana in my bag to warrant a life imprisonment term, if I got caught.
And then there's all the shallow ****, like smoking a joint in AS, making out in the Sunken garden (and getting caught), stealing bamboo from the lagoon, and so on and so forth.
College. Go figure.
Paano yan, say, if your future partner or kid/s ask you NOT to be in that industry.
Good question. For starters, I wouldn't choose a mate who didn't approve of my being in filmmaking. It would mean that she doesn't accpet me completely, and I can't have that.
My kids, however, are a different story.
See, I've mapped out my life in very broad strokes, and so, by the time I have kids, I hope to have established myself and a few businesses, enough to raise a family. So I'm hoping that I would be lying low from the industry at that point; you know, doing the occassional project here and there, but generally removed from the rat race.
Assuming everything I've planned out actually comes true, if any of my kids still wish for me to turn my back from filmmaking forever, I wouldn't know what to do. I would want to respect my kid's decision, but at the same time, my kids would be asking me to turn my back on the one true passion I have. I don't know what I would do.
sino po gusto niyong Grilly for the month of August, bakit po?
anyone from the beerkadet na gustong gusto niyo po yung attitude and character, at ano po yun?

Yeah, right.
Correction: Parent. My dad's dead. Well, she freaked out, of course. It took years to repair the damage, and the wounds are not fully healed pa. At least she didn't find out about everything.
As soon as they can understand it. And I'm talking about mental and emotional growth. And I'm not revealing everything in one blow. Piecemeal, baby.

Honestly, I couldn't care less. If I really didn't want to share this stuff, I wouldn't have. Take it as it is.
sino po gusto niyong Grilly for the month of August, bakit po?
We already have an August grillee: Goh. Nakapila na sya. Are you guys ready for the Fifty-peso Ninja?
anyone from the beerkadet na gustong gusto niyo po yung attitude and character, at ano po yun?
I think most of the Beerkadets are cool. You have to understand that I really don't know you new guys as much as I did the old email-based batch, so I can't answer this question correctly right now. I could name some peeps from the old batch, though: Lloyd (because he was nuts), Aby (because you could really talk to her), Ana Ng (because her emails are the most gruesome stuff on earth), Deacon (because his temper is beaten only by me), Jampen (because it helps to have a human clickthecity.com as a friend), Ice (because I saw her grow up), and my Ex (still the loveliest Beerkadette ever!)
ano pong strees reliever ang madalas niyong gawin?
NBA Live 05. Or the punching bag in my bro's room.
Based on your posts? I would assume that you're 2nd or 3rd year college, you have a rowdy but harmless barkada, you generally know what's going on with the world, you probably like action movies, and you could be taking a BA course in UP. (I know I'm wrong on some things, so please correct me)
Personality-wise, you seem nice and okay enough. I feel, though, that you want to break out, but you're holding yourself back. And you put a lot of stock on people's perception on you. While it's nice that you care about what other people think of you, worrying about it too much can really hinder you. You're fine, you're okay, let yourself go.
why thank you po mr. Psychocow. hehehe, by the way di po ito question. errr BS po kinuha ko and graduate na po ako. nagpapakabata lang, nyahaha... thanks po uli.

I currently don't have any, but I'd like to start collecting Gundams sometime soon.

I was out of the couontry at that time. Argh.

If I'm in town, hell yes.
sinong WWE Superstar ang pinaka gusto mong makita?
Nasa RAW, eh. Shawn Micheals, Triple H, and John Cena.

6. What does "baker's dozen" signify?
Back in the day, a Baker who was caught cheating or shortchanging his customers would get his hands lopped off with an axe. To prevent that, baker's would usually give an extra piece, just in case. Since most people buy a dozen pieces of bread, they often end up with thirteen. Baker's Dozen, in effect, means 13.
