Filipino television today is bombarded with a lot Telefantasyas. One of which is Captain Barbell which premiered tonight. Ok lng xa, pero purgang purga na ko sa mga to eh. Whatchathink?

It's Lechon Manok mentality....pero i admit...i watch fantaseryes...pero PBB ang pinapanood ako. (heheheeh)  Seriously, it's the demand of the market.  Media companies like GMA7 and ABSCBN are also profit oriented.  The fantaseryes catched the general public's attention, so they'll venture into it.


On the POSITIVE NOTE, fantaseryes are there as a sort of idealism...that every person wants a positive change in his/her environment.  Nakakadisappoint kasi ang nangyayari sa atin eh...corruption, rebellion, etc...kahit man lang sa fantaserye makaramdam naman tayo ng something positive.  Other people may call it, "illusion, escaping from reality", but hey, it's just a show, right?

Napanood ko yung portion na binuhat ni Batang Enteng yung kotse...very Superman.  Correct me if i'm wrong...di ba ang original story line ay mambobote si Enteng ay walang power, nagka-power dahil sa gintong barbell?

nakakafrustrate talaga na pginawa nilang pinoy vesion ng Smallville yung Captain Barbell. Tingin ko, yung mga taong di familiar sa smallville eh iisipin na orig pinoy ito.


Sayang talaga. Sana, sinunod nila yung original story para naman mas maging familiar yung mga tao sa pinoy comis.

Ah, nanonood ako ng telefantasya since ung sa mulawin, tapos nasundan ng enca, darna( goodness, ampangit netoh), majika..nayon capt. barbell.. na pinoi version ng smallville....aaccckkkk!!!! someone call the butcher!!!!


anak ng tokwang hilaw, sana makagawa cla ng original...un bang free from western influences...ung enca kc medyo may touch ng lord of the rings....pero like ko yun ha....


capt. barbell..ung costume nya parang maluwag ata sa kanya...maxadong beefed up eh....pero i like the animation..mas maganda sa darna...pero the story.....ewan ok...nakikinita ko na...si patrick garcia ung ala lex lhutor...tapos masisira ung friendship nila ek ek...

sa koreanovela pa rin ako!bwahaha

sa fantaserye...minsan kapag napapalipat ako sa mga channel ay minsan napapapanood ako..yung mga nagustuhan ko na nadadaanan ko ay yung enca..

sa kuwento niyo tungkol sa captain barbell..hmm..mukha ngang smallville na tagalog...may nagcomment pa actually doon sa costumes/itsura ng characters ng majika..parang may pagka sailormoon daw...

ewan di naman ako nakakasubaybay ng fantaserye pero kahit ganun...napupurga na rin ako at yung mga bida ay iyon at iyon din lang...

BUGOY: much as I'd like to take credit for that Barville remark, it wasn't me. Anybody can post anonymously in the forum; please don't readily assume that I'm responsible. I "sign" my anonymous posts ( in my pre-April hiatus posts).


I go online whenever I can during my work breaks; that means new cafes/ comp shops whose mods I'm not familiar with. For security reasons, I don't log in during those times.


I'm tempted to do a Mojo Jojo denial if only it won't make me look guilty.

I saw the Herbert Bautista/Edu Manzano movie. I think Berting Labra was the old man who gave Enteng the magic barbel (pls correct me if I'm wrong).


Duh question: asan ang barbel sa GMA show? Sorry, I don't watch it but from what you guys posted, the name Teng lang ako naka-relate.

nakita ko sa commercial ito kanina. hahahaha.... yung barbell nya kasya sa bulsa yata kasi ang liit eh. nafofold ba yun? tapos magiging dumbell or dambell (di ko alam spelling eh) at hahaba na lang. ano yun?! hahahahha,....

Medallion sya na pag ginagalaw kumikidlat tapos ung kidlat nagiging handle ng barbell.


Di ko rin maintindihan kung baket barbell ang pinagkukunan nya ng lakas...

pano xa nagtransform? wala lang nakita lang nya ung slab ng metal na may cb...binasa nya...sabay sigaw ng CAPTAIN BARBELL...kaya lang flat ata ung pagkakasabi nya...parang ganito...kaaaaaaaapttttteeeeeennnnnn bbbbbaaaahhhhhaaaarrrbbeeelllllllllll. para xang may sakit....tsk....majika na nga lang...mas maganda pa.
