i'm currently enjoying watching jewel in the palace.. kaso, i had some problems playing it sa laptop starting with CD 21, tsak 23 o 24 ata, CD 27 won't play.. sana gumana sya sa dvd player namin.. inabutan ko na yung episode kagabi.. grabe exciting..
sir L pala made a comic strip about Jewel in the Palace and I saw it on one of the forums in Pinoy Exchange(malamang thread about Jewel in the Palace..)...natuwa sila..hehehe...
about importing tv series from africa...paano kaya sila umarte? ano rin kaya style nila when it comes to tv series? nakita ko rin difference between espanyol and asian series, koreanovelas in particular..more on facial expression ang asian especially with their eyes..ang mga espanyol more on the speech..
Jewel in the Palace is a good one. Attic Cat? Ang kulit. Sassy girl? I like the girl there. According to Director Maryo J. delos Reyes, the reason why Korea nowadays have good telenovelas is because directors there are admire the way movie stars are admired. Sabi nga niya, akala niya mga film critic ang dadagsa sa kanila...mag students daw...they gave good appreciation to directors. (ika nga, parang artista). That's what i heard from Direk Maryo J. Delos Reyes (though not verbattim)
