contrary to what you're saying, i believe y tu mama tambien is one sensible film. kasi po yung story, it deals with real issues. very political nga po siya. i researched about the film after seeing it in up film center and amazingly, yung film setting coincided with their country's political situation. saka sa simula ka lang maha-harrass(or magugulat) dun sa mga explicit scenes kasi sa dami ng scenes na ganun, parang magsasawa ka na, at automatically madadivert na yung attention mo in absorbing the story. profound ba? labo no...

Watched the movie during the sneak preview, two weeks before it opened. I guess the couples didn't know about it yet.
