Ilipat or ulitin mo naman dito yung explanation mo nung pagkakaiba-iba nila, especially sa price, please?  Hindi pa nga ako maka-vote kasi hindi pa ako maka-decide.  So far, I like beerkada.com.ph, and beerkadaonline.com. 


Iniisip ko lang din yung chances na mahanap nila yung site natin (eventually?) kapag ang sinearch nila ay "beerkada" lang na keyword. Or kung i-type lang nila agad yung "beerkada.com" (na meron na kamong may-ari). Makakatulong ba kung may word na "comics" or "online" sa name?  Just typing out loud.  I want to vote wisely.

Okay. this is related with Beerkada Forum -> The Comics -> Beerkada Marketing Strategies Thread.

Eto ung sa website na napag usapan namin ni khai, lyndon and i, with the special participation of iLenz.

ganito ang mangyayari. Currently, beerkada website is running thru keenspace (a free webhosting with online comics support and using the old dot tk account as a redirect url.) So ang proposal as part of the marketing strategy and "branding", we will re-create/ revamp and revise the old beerkada website and transform it to a new, interactive and manageable site.

I havent talked to L yet regarding kung possible ma publish un current strip ng sabay sa philstar.com and ung dyaryo at sa beerkada website.

Moving on. I'm 65% done with the comic script snippets that has the archiving capabilities. (specifically calendar archiving). Formatting na lang ang kulang.

Aside from the current strip to appear in the front page. Madadagdagan ung mga links. such as characters and their profiles. Gallery and downloads. Online Quizzes like which beerkada member are u? etc.

beerkadet profiles, the old forum will still run and be added to the forum.

About the search engine function:

yes, it is 100% possible for the new site to appear when u do search sa google or yahoo. It is done by putting meta tags keywords and descriptions sa codes XD sorry very IT-ish.

The domain will be permanent as long as we continue paying it yearly.

.com/.net/.org/.biz/.name is P900/yr (domain + webspace)

.ph/.com.ph is pricey... yeah but its worth it. P1800/year (minimum of two years) so times 2 yun. P3600 for two years na yun.

Last na: bukod sa price, ano ang pagkakaiba ng mga domain names na yan? Mas maganda ba yung service nung isa kesa sa isa? Or is it just the privilege of using the .ph?

aside from the spelling ^^; may meaning kasi bawat extension name ng domain..

.com = commercial
.net = network
.org = organization
.edu = education
.gov = government.
.us = usa country code
.biz = business
.info = information

.ph kasi eh country code. magkaiba din ang beerkada.ph or beerkada.com.ph. depende sa pagbibilhan.

.ph = country code lang
.com.ph= may extension code na may country code pa.

Same services sila, name lang ng ung pinagkaiba at pricing.

i just voted.. *whew* buti umabot ako.. (i hope)


.com would have been my choice. weird lang coz i checked the site na .com pero wala naman. hindi sya updated. but since hindi na sya available, i chose .net instead. for me, .ph isnt that much of a factor since beerkada's goal is world domination, ergo, hindi lang sa pinas. international na tayo! =p what i mean is, since WWW eto, buong net ang audience natin, why limit ourselves to the ph domain? also, the shorter URL, the better. for easier remembering. kaysa madami pang dot dot dot.. =p another thing, since net stands for network, o, di very apt sya, ryt?


no need to worry about whether it will appear in google, yahoo and other search engines. i know a little about SEO/SEM so that wont be a problem. after all, that is my current job.

beerkadacomics.com - this is good and would help us optimize for the keyword comics, not just beerkada. it would also help explain that the websiet is about comics..
