The return of ARISTOCART

Dear Beerkadets,


ARISTOCART is set to return as BEERKADA'S e-newsletter. This time around, ARISTOCART will include past issues of BEERKADETS, the comic strip about those zany the BEERKADA readers.


Is there anything else you want to include in the newsletter? What useful thing do you want that only BEERKADA can provide? Some sort of personal ads, like CRAIGLIST?

you seem to be a real foodie.. fave ko rin magtry nang mga food sa different resto.. kaia lang yung foodie buddy ko may duty na.. kaia it's been long since i tried out a new resto.. hay..

hindi pinalitan ng cart bucks ang aristocart; nag-branch out lang si aling mcbeal. and yun nga, spoof naman ito ng star bucks.

Hehehe, confused na ako sa pinag-uusapan ninyo.  Nag-evolve na siya.


Anyway, ang which is which ng Aristocrat, Aristocart and Aristoback: Aristocrat is the restaurant na 1 million years na yata in existence, Aristocart is the Beerkada newsletter and Aristoback is the carinderia behind Aristocrat.  Starbucks is expensive coffee, and Cartbucks is...something else. In a good way.

 I like this a lot. Also the craigslist thing, pero siguro on a less grander scale.  Beerkadet submissions kaya?


But I like the featured websites er, feature in aristocart very much pa rin.

cassava cake is not a street food, it's a native delicacy/cake although some are being sold sa streets..


street foods yung like kwek kwek nga (yup they are orange) and fishballs.. isaw and stuff..

bloopers. we held our cast party at the Aristocrat, Baywalk Roxas Blvd recently. Since I still had to do some stuff, pinauna ko na yung group. Up until the moment na nagpahatid na ako sa resto, i didnt realize i kept saying, "Sa AristoCART ang party." The driver had to correct me pa.


suggest ko na rin po, since we're already doing it here naman (check out the internitwits thread regarding this), add na rin ng classifieds section. like, if a beerkadet is selling this & that, or someone's looking for so & so, eh di makatulong pa. pero wag ka na maningil ng ad space fee. (may balak kasi ako mag-announce din).

it's slang, street name...if im not mistaken, this is yung quail eggs dipped in flour and egg solution, then fried.. meron din yung one day old chick, mas malaking version, tpos iyon nga, one day old, pero malay natin, baka weeks old na yung one day old chick.. :p

ARISTOCART pala ha.. im sure ok lang yan, lagi naman na yung mailing list ng beerkada e hindi about beerkada ang pinag-uusapan :p just go ahead and start a thread.

o, ayan.. puwede na yang ilagay sa aristocart mga origins, whether thoroughly researched or haka-haka lang ng malilikot na imahinasyon ng mga kadets, ng mga street food. puwede pang may backtrack ng kung anong umusong street food eg noong panahon ng hapon.  yummy!
