Speakingof cabbies, I just had a hair-raising experience on the trip one of the nights last week.

I was in a cab on the way home. Somewhere on EDSA Southbound between Boni and Shaw, a red bus suddenly swerved in front of us. The driver by a hairbreadth, switched to the overtake lane.

BTW, severla hours later on the same highway Southbound, but on the corner with Boni Serrano, near our place, a mercedes was hit by 2 racing buses of the same company killing the driver. The fatality was an Doctor whose family owned a leading chain of Optical shops

This was not the 1st time the bus driver caused a major accident

Blame throwing usually follows such major screw-ups.

the simple solution there is to give city bus drivers fixed salaries.
