Idol Says Malu-Bye to Ramiele

Unfortunately, it didn't cross too many minds to vote for Ramiele Malubay this week.

The diminutive singer was eliminated from American Idol Wednesday after not quite connecting with her Dolly Parton song of choice on a performance show devoted to ditties penned by the country-music icon.

Though Paula Abdul said she was proud of Malubay after her solid yet unexciting take on "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind" and Randy Jackson "wasn't mad" at her afterward, the majority of the millions of votes cast were on behalf of the eight other contestants still in the running this season.

The super-cute 20-year-old from Miramar, Fla."Finally, someone my size!" Parton exclaimed when Malubay approached the piano during rehearsalswept in fellow finalist Kristy Lee Cook's arms upon hearing the news.

I was wondering kung bat sya nakapasok sa top 12, eh mas magaling naman si Asia'h sa kanya. Tapos, nauna pang natanggal sina David H., Amanda, Chikeze at ngayon si Ramiele, kaysa sa kanya.

I smell something sinister brewing...

Of course, meron ding possibility na binoboto sya ng mga taong galit sa show - para maging pang-gulo lang.

David H, Amanda, Chikezie and Ramiele are obviously better than Kristy Lee Cook

AMERICANS ARE REALLY SO DISCRIMINATING... Look:

first week, Kristy and David H were the bottom two... DAVID H GOT THE BOOT JUST BECAUSE HE ADMITTED TO DANCING AS A STRIPPER IN A GAY CLUB

then Kristy and Amanda were in the bottom two... AMANDA GOT THE BOOT JUST BECAUSE KRISTY IS PRETTIER (ugh!) THAN AMANDA

then third week, KRISTY WASN'T IN THE BOTTOM 3... That week the bottom 3 were JASON CASTRO, SYESHA MERCADO, AND CHIKEZIE... SYESHA AND CHIKEZIE were in the Bottom 2 just because they're BLACK!

then RAMIELE GOT THE BOOT OVER KRISTY BECAUSE RAMIELE'S ASIAN!

c'mon America! you're so backward!

Aye. Asa na lang tayo sa Pinoy Idol - at least dun, siguradong walang discrimination.

At anong panama nila sa mga theme weeks natin? Fred Panopio week, April Boys week, Mystika week etc... Panis ang competition!

Sana manalo si David Cook. Feeling ko kasi, masyado nang over-rated si David Archuleta. Simula pa lang nung lumabas yung top 24, halos lahat sinasabing si David A. na yung mananalo.

David Cook is so great! Honestly, I think taht Ramiele was going to get the axe sooner or later..she has a good voice but her choice of songs are not really that good....but she did her best....Kristy Lee Cook should have been the one to go home not Ramiele! Many of you would likely agree with me that Kristy is not deserving to be there!

Yeah, it would be hard for her to win considering the depth of talent the other contestants have - David Cook and Archuleta, Carly, etc. But come on, dapat nauna pa sa kanyang umalis si Kristy Lee Cook or even Syesha. She could at least landed 5th-7th.
