Guys, have you tried the new YM on browser?
It's called web messenger. I happen to have a semi-defective system installed on my PC, thus results to some installation failures. One of those installation failures is my YM installation.

I'm so desperate to open my YM because I'm waiting for someone to log in and hopefully talk to.

I tried meebo.com but that site is too slow..
I soon found out that Yahoo released their Beta version of Web Messenger.
Cool!

It was a pure flash web-site (requires flash player 9 and up) that kinda imitates the real YM. I tested it with different browsers, IE6, Firefox and Safari. And it worked on all of those browsers.

Kaya pag di niyo din mainstall YM niyo, yan na lang gamitin niyo

kuya jot: another alternative from web messenger is the integrated chat in yahoo mail.. try it.

I actually learned to YM at my previous place of work because they use it for intra-office communications.

Nowadays, I use it to communicate with a former classmate back in Grade School now in Richmond, BC
