Kidding.

Pero, oo nga, pag kailangan namin ng mga features about the Sea Games participants, sa Baguio kami pinapapunta, doon sa mga training camps nila, para i-tape yung mga boxers pag nagpa-practice.

--Manny Pacquiao vs. Hector Velazquez--
September 11, 2005 @ 10am (Manila Time)

Former IBF & WBO super bantamweight champion Manny "Pac Man" Pacquiao (39-3-2, 31 KO's), General Santos City, Philippines. 26-year-old 5'6" southpaw, 130 pounds. Trainer Freddie Roach, managed by Shelly Finkel.

Hector Velazquez (42-10-2, 31 KO's) Tijuana, Mexico. 30-years-old, 5'7", 130 pounds, trainer of record Ricardo Torres.

Prediction: This fight should be interesting as long as it lasts. We look for Velazquez to be forced to trade while Pacquiao tries cuts off the ring and deliver heavy artillery. Don't be surprised to see low blows and one or both guys cut from accidental headbutts. Nevertheless, Pacquiao's speed and power will eventually catch up with Velazquez. We expect the Filipino star to end matters via a TKO by the sixth round.

proud to be Filipino!

FYI.

Bobby Pacquiao wins over Carlos "Famoso" Hernandez via split decision.!

97-92..hernandez

anyway, another win for the filipino boxers..

--Erik Morales vs. Manny Pacquiao II--
By Boxing Times Staff

Los Angeles, California--

HBO starts their 2006 campaign with a rematch from last year's battle between Mexican legend Erik Morales and Filipino sensation Manny Pacquiao, in a 12 round WBC super featherweight eliminator. Morales and Pacquiao square off on Saturday, January 21, 9 PM ET/ 6 PM PT on Pay-Per-View, from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Prediction: This is a "Pick 'Em" fight and we can see scenarios for both fighters to notch a victory. Morales isn't as bad as he appeared to be against Raheem this past September. He was simply flat. That said, Pacquiao didn't fight his best bout when he squared off with the Mexican champion in their first encounter. Our biggest question is Morales really slowing down? He is two years older than Pacquiao and he's been in a number of wars. However, Morales has a well-earned reputation as a boxer who fights up to or down to the level of his opposition. You have to think his performance against Raheem was an anomaly. Throughout his training camp trainer Freddie Roach has preached for Pacquiao to throw more body shots, more combinations and not to load up on his punches. We expect another high velocity encounter but this time out we see Pacquiao doing just enough to win a close and compelling 12 round decision.

Kung may manalo bang American boxer, for example, or Mexican boxer, umaakyat ba si Hillary Clinton or yung President nila? Feeling ko Arroyo exposed himself to ridicule.

Whatchathink?

You are right.  The President should do the thanking inside Malacanang.  The stage (if i see it right) is meant for athletes to savor his victory (or defeat).  Putting politicians there will just make it dirty

Too many wars and too many straight left hands ultimately led to a legend's downfall.

Former three-time world champion Erik "El Terrible" Morales simply had no answer for Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao's wicked left cross and after ten blistering rounds he ended down on his hands and knees with his head bowed in defeat.

54 secs left on the 10t round na-KO ni Manny Pacquiao si Erik Morales.

on the 2nd round muntik nang matumba si Morales kundi lang sya nakahawak sa lubid. dahil pro  sya alam nya yun. pati sa 6th round. napuruhan talaga sya sa chest nya. at yung ang sabi ni Freddie Roach. first time sa buong career ni Erik Morales na natalo sya via Knock Out.

nadinig nyo ba yung sounds sa pagpasok ng ring? yung kanta nya. kahit medyo mahina nadinig ko pa rin. naka-mix yung kanta nyang "Para Sa Iyo Ang Laban Na 'To" naka mix yun with Papercut ng Linkin Park. heheheheh....

mga posibleng mangyayari sa susunod. Pacquiao vs Barrera II, Morales vs Pacquiao III (rubber match) Morales vs Ibrahim.

for me the 3 possible reasons bakit natalo si Morales.

"I was tired because of making weight and I was tired because of all the tough fights I've had," Morales said.

"I was tired and it is an accumulation of all the hard fights," Morales confided after the defeat. "It was just very hard and I fell down because I was just tired. I was tired because of making weight. I hadn't made 130-pounds in over a year and the body can't take that much more and I was just exhausted."

nasa hospital ngayon si Erik Morales because of broken nose, cheek at neck yata yun.

Buti na lang nag-cut yung camera to another part of the ring, kundi nakita pa nating nagkabuhol-buhol sa ropes yung First Gentleman.
