Ever tried testing yourself to your limit?

Like for the purpose of endurance (or other things as well), how many miles or hours na nag-bibisikleta ka? Or how long have you been without sleep? Or have you ever tried drinking so much in order to satisfy your curiousity kung gaano ka katibay sa inuman? or how long have you suppressed the urge to smoke after quitting?

Push-ups (tried up to 100), motorcycle riding (8 hours straight and ended up having rashes), Space Shuttle (5 tries and got traumatized ever since)...

I tried drinking 8 bottles of beer, several ****tails, and a Red Horse Grande in one night out of sheer rage. The moment I was singing "Suteki Da Ne" on the karaoke machine, I realized it's all over.

i tried to sleep the longest time possible.. i consumed about half a day. and i got a headache afterwards. sad story.

I don't think it's really my limit but.. I still went ahead watching a 1230am screening of a movie.. even though my eyelids were heavy and im not feeling too well. i just didn't want to pass the opportunity. biggrin.gif

during our sleep deprivation thesis...didn't sleep for 36 hours...it got me very moody..sobrang i was already cursing under my breath, i was texting my friend and sknya ko nilalabas galit ko dahil antok na antok na ko..but i know maeexperience ko ulit sya when i do clinical rotations already..im looking forward to it..that's the most exciting part of med life..for me ha..i think...hehe!

working infront of a computer 3 and half days. Hindi makatulog at sa harap na rin mismo ng pc kumakain dahil may deadline. Walang paliguan. What happen to me (and my officemates)? Di na kami makausap ng matino, Binabanas, aburido, at iritable.

Then try kong matulog for the longest possible. 3/4 day, walang bangon. Headache at colds naman nakuha ko.

taking in calls for 14 hrs, (sobrang OT - "Over Tawad") coz my last call lasted for almost 5 hrs, talking to a customer for 7 hrs straight, no breaks... and going to work for the almost the shift eventhough my body temp is 39+ degrees already... sinermonan pa ko ng nurse na bakit di ako pumunta sa clinic agad...cry

Smoked weed until the point of total stupor and numbness, until even the funny part disappeared. Adding 5 reps to the last set of any bicep/chest exercise I do. Worked a 12-hour shift. Took on 3 guys and won. Took on a senior gang member and won.

After my kidney stones were removed, i immediately went to school for my oral defense regarding the topic that i presented (may tubo pa na nakakabit sa akin sa loob ng katawan ko)

Another one: I drove all the way to Balanga, Bataan, pick up our guest speaker, then go back at QC, as i went out of my car, i facilitated the program...

HS... di ako natutulog hanggat di tapos ang homework etc.

Sa UE... mag padami ng fruit flies para sa Genetics class at mag carve ng ngipin sa wax

Sa nursing sch... sumubo at lumunok ng sangkatutak na medicl at nursing terms and abbreviations + pharmacological ekek pa!!! Magabasa ng kinahig ng manok este doctors order... makisama sa mga hinayupak na kaduty ko...

Maglakad ng may suot na high heels!!! Wear make -up!!! In short magpaka girl!!!!!!! >>> di kaya ng powers ko to! LOL

Mag drive sa pinas.

Matulog ng maaga at gumising ng umaga.

um.... not really tried but was forced to..... it was during *mumbles mumbles* been s2fid enough to take the challenge of entering the slow drill platoon, 1k push ups, 2 hr marathon, 1k jumping jacks (with m1 garand) all in 1 day. never participated in the second phase T_T

Went to work from 8 pm, to 6 am. Went on a class field trip from 7 am to 5pm, went to work again from 8 pm to 6 am. Then to class from 7:30 till 10:30 am. No sleep at all.

I once tried to take my guitar playing practice extremely.
I played for about 13 hours, from 3am-4pm.. It was electric. So i think I also produced noise for 13 hours.. pagtigil ko parang feeling ko ang tahimik na ng mundo.. tyaka feeling ko yung mga kalyo ko tinubuan ulit ng kalyo pa..

I heard that 17 hours straight is like having an alcohol level of .05% ( 2 glasses of wine).

not by choice, easty. haven't you read my post in heart matters? dinibdib ng girlfriend ko yung pag-flunk niya sa bar exams...in just two days, andun na siya sa California...with a new Fil-Am boyfriend na tagaroon.

man, it's 44 hours (no kidney!) and am slugging my eight bottle of beerand no effect! i love her that much man. memories come rushing back and that keeps me awake....knowing they're just memories and that they may never, EVER, happen again.

@bowen: ow.. yea. i read that. it kinda slipped tru my mind. sorry to hear that.. wallow it for as long as you want dude but set a sort of a deadline.. just keep in mind that a person is not that worth it if you're the only one feeling the agony of it all. :(

I already did 72 hours without sleeping... three days un... because four consecutive days I had BIG EXAMS, plus rushing thesis draft, plus reports, plus papers...

THAT WAS THE SEMESTER WHEN I HAD 12 UNITS OF STATISTICS SUBJECT AND 6 UNITS OF ECONOMICS SUBJECTS
