Essentially Beerkada strips have 2 narratives:

The first is about the actual beerkada (Glenn, Andrea, Alan, Boopey, Bryan...)

The other line is the more personal story and worldview of the Artist (lyndon) and his community of fans

I'm thinking the sitcom would focus on how L's personal life shapes his next series of strips

Well, if Beerkada is to be an actual sitcom, the people who I think would play the characters are as follows:

1. Glen - Dennis Trillo (Give him the right haircut and he'll pass of as a believable "Glen")

2. Andrea - Marian Rivera (She's got the hair and the bubbly personality)

3. Alan - Vhong Navarro (His antics could pass-off as the "bilib sa sarili" Alan persona)

4. Boopey - Toni Gonzaga (Smart, sexy and sassy; good tandem with Vhong as Alan)

5. Bryan - Bearwin Meilly (Maybe I'm using built for reference, but maybe he can pull it off)

6. Jimmy - ?

7. Fe - Heart Evangelista (She's Chinese to some extent, so she's a decent match for the part)

8. Jay - ?

9. Harry - Jao Mapa? Give him glasses and he'll kinda resemble the resident jerk.

Actually, the idea sounds better as a movie - you know, para bang isang librong dinala sa big screen. Mahirap kasing i-maintain kung sitcom. As a film, it's easier to do. Tapos pwedeng gawing installments - may part 1, part 2, etc. Pang filmfest pa ang dating! biggrin
