I haven't moved around the new site that much. but is there a way to view the comic strips from the very first strip uploaded so i won't keep pressing the "previous" button and read the strips backward. get what i mean?

Syeri: from the home page, under the latest strip, there's a link going to 'First' and 'previous'. Yun nga lang, when you're in a particular strip, you can only go to the previous, or next strip. I'll try to see what I can do to include the 'First' link in all pages. In the mean time, you can also follow Oliver's suggestion, to look at the monthly archives. Dun mo rin makikita kung may bagong upload na 'lumang comics' :D

update: under the menu sa sidebar, you can see under 'Store' there's a store finder page. It tells you which branches have a particular stock of book that you are looking for para hindi kayo mahirapan maghanap. O di ba? :D

One other thing I would have to add Ms Chomps is that with the new site being a webcomic, I can be up-to-date with the strip.

You guys know very well that I live in a Philippine Daily Inquirer household.\

I also like the fact it is a low-bandwidth site

leo: just a minor difference, all strips on the site starting 2008 onwards would be in english. (unlike the one printed at philstar which has some taglish). Also, gutter fillers/announcements at the newspaper is not included in the web version :D

some updates: for firefox users, you can see that we now have a jimmy favicon! that small logo at the left corner of the tabs :D

added some links for easy bookmarking, sharing, posting online.. but it doesn't look to good to me, im looking for a better widget.. any suggestions?

for all bloggers, or site administrators, etc.. please do post a link to beerkada at http://www.beerkada.net, and/or any particular entry/comic that you liked :) this would really help us boost more visitors to the site. :)

have yet to navigate thru its entirety though. parang di yata masyadong makulay ang buhay sa bagong site...and asan po ang tagboard (jimmy moment here). pero kudos to L sa kanyang archiving. (if only asikasuhin din niya ang pag-reprint ng beerlennium). ehem.

I'm just curious, who designed the new site? what technology are used?
Anyway, I really love the new face of the site.. Small bandwith cost (that means it loads quickly) is one of the factors that I really tend to give priority when Im designing a web page/site.

One suggestion, why not use iframes on the comic strips above? That is to avoid reloading the whole page everytime the purst, pribyus, neks and leytest is clicked..
