To those who have just started out in the study of GUNDAM, you should watch the original MS Gundam which aired a few years back on Animax. However, compilation films have been made.

Watching Zeta is also a must (don't worry, 3 compilation films were also made of them)

Zeta Gundam is also known for its high character mortality rate

and what were those 3 films??? is it like their OVA or sumthing?

There is one Gundam i would like to own someday: the GPO2 Master Grade not SD version from Stardust Memory but it's too expensive also found a site where they took all Gundam fanservice pics from the first series up to present but that would be telling....

Actually, the GP02 the one with the Nuke. It's the GP03 that you were talking about.

Here are the 0083 Gundams:

Spoiler: Model: RX-79 GP01

Name: Gundam "Zephyranthes"

Type: Protype MS (General Purpose

User: Earth Federation

Description: Essentially, an improved version of the RX-78-2 Gundam which Amuro fought
with in the 1-Year War. It has up-to-date electronics, improved acceleration and
maneuverability and a new core fighter.

Newbie Test Pilot Kou Uraki gets this MS when he gets caught in it when their
Base is attacked by a Zeon Team which shanghais the GP02 and goes gets to
take down a Dom. Kou along with the GP01 joins the pursuit along with the
Whitebase carrier Albion. Formidable on the ground, it proves a disater in space

Fate: Was nearly totalled in space combat with Zeon COmmander Cima Garahau
who was piloting a Gelgoog Marine ( A Zeon MS with performance a notch
higher than the original Gundam)

Model: RX-79-GP01FB

Name: Gundam Full Vernian "Zephyranthes"

Type: Hi-Performance Space Combat MS Prototype

User: Earth Federation

Description: The Zepyranthes was rebuilt in Anaheim's moon base as the "Full Vernian" with
vernier thrusters and a space-use core fighter giving it doubled perofrmance
and maneuverability in space. Kou's first battle in this MS was when he fought
against a 1-armed former Zeon pilot turned Mechanic who was hoping to join
the Zeon renegate Delaz Fleet with his rebuilt Zakrello Mobile Armor, which
Uraki himself had helped fix

Fate: Was destroyed when he defeated the GP-02 after that MS Launched its attack
on the Fed Fleet along with the Delaz Fleet

Model: RX-79-GP02

Name: Gundam "Physalis"

User: Developed by Earth Federation but was stolen and used by Zeon Delaz fleet

Description: The MS was built in direct violation of the Antartic treaty. It was designed to be
a Nuclear strike MS and was heavily armored and its shield has a cooling
system to withstand a Nuclear blast. It's primary weapon was a bazooka with a
Strategic Nuke warhed. All defensive armamanets it carried were its vulcans
and a beam saber. The GP01 in both its variants had a beam rifle.

The GP01 and GP02 were sent to Torrington Base for testing. However, Zeon
Ace Anavel Gato of the Delaz Fleet infiltrated the base and stole the 02.

Gato would later use this to strike Fed Fleet in being paraded to dissuade Zeon
remnants from launching raids.

Fate: After Gato succesfully launched a Nuclear strike on the Fed fleet, it was
destroyed in a duel with Kou Uraki in his GP02FB. Both pilots survived that
engagement

Model: RX-79-GP03

Codename: Gundam Dendrobium Stamen/Orchis

User: Earth Federation

Description: Was designed as part of the same MS development program as the GP01/2. The
GP03 Dendrobium Orchics was a space attack MS prototype designed to hook-
up with the Dendrobium Stamen, an unmanned mobile armor unit equips the
MS with a wide array of weapons other than its rifle and saber like Missile
pods, a beam cannon, a giant beam saber that can slice cap ships in half and
an i-field generator that makes the MS/MA impervious to beam weapons.

In its bid to stop the Delaz fleet from sending an abandoned colony hurtling
down to Earth, the crew of the Albion steal this MS from the factoryship where
it was being assembled under guard by Fed troops

Fate: Uraki piloted GP03 in the futile attempt to stop the colony drop but ended up
duelling with the Nue Ziel mobile armor piloted by Gato escorting the
colony. The GP03 and NZ were badly damaged by both their engagement
and by the solar ray used to intercept the colony. While NZ went off on a
Kamikaze run on Fed ships, the Stamen Module was totaled but the Orchis
survived intact. The fate of the Orchis unit after 0083 remains unknown

Ibig-sabihin ng high char mortlity rate, maraming characters ang napatay sa Zeta.

Those 3 films are the Zeta compilation films

The Musha's aren't my type. I'd for more realistic designs

especially those Hajime Katoki designs and love his Gundam artbook.

I search on the web and it costs US$55.If you turn into x P43 conversion,it would cost: P2.300+ minus the taxes.Not bad for a Freedom Gundam(extra-finish) that shells about $109.Pero mahirap hanapin dito ang GPO2...naghanap na ako sa Toy r' Us,Toy Kingdom branches tsaka sa me Greenhills.

Z can't compare to V Gundam in terms of mortality rate, as I was told time and again.

Sunrise/Bandai's 100th MG Gundam is Turn A designed by Blade Runner's Syd Mead and in my book,it's the least and disappointing Gundam design.

V Gundam is set in Universal Century but years after Amuro was killed in Char's Counterattack

i have a gundam design back in highschool

i call it ERAP-of-the-orient, its mullet have gatling guns and can store additional weapons in its "secret front belly storage"

its bigote can extend to look like the gundam antenna. yes it can recieve love radio

it kills its enemy by charging energy in its hands for the "swabeng swabe death blow" like daimos.
it has a metal band in its arm to hide the "made in china" label

it can only carry either a sword or a single gun...its mechanical joint knees arent made to support them

its computers only speak tagalog.. it is futile against lito lapid's gundam who can translate "kapampangan"

it can merge with mrt to have an additional armor..yet since it has weak knees, it never try to do so.

it becomes powerful when drunk.....with fuel of course

glory gundam defeated it though, the cute appearance is so appealing to the people back then

it was taken by the government and store it in its military base for 6-8 yrs!
to study its technology...and keep it from trouble

it is now stored in a secret weapons base in san juan and his other houses...the boracay mansion base was destroyed by the government

im imagining the gloria gundam to be super deformed...well conflict to the real scale of model of gundams wi would still look cute yet..so deadly... with her finisher SHINING MOLE!!! in face...

To pass the season break, they will release another MS Igloo series where the lead character is a Feddie infantryman
