There are two Isaw stands in UP. The one near Kalayaan Dorm is pretty famous. I see peeps from Ateneo (!) and Miriam hang out there. I like the crispy bopis over there.

There is another one, near Ilang-Ilang dorm. Actually, the Isaw here is better, but the stand is not as popular. The balunbalunan over here is (in stereotypical kolehiyala speak) like super-panalo.

I've noticed that loads of vendors sell deep fried squid on the streets. I'm such a sucker for squid.

I also like balut (!!!), chicken skin, proven, and kwek-kwek (or is it called Abnoy?)

I'm not so much an Isaw fan. However, my toxins of choice would have to be kwek-kwek, calamares and dried squid grilled over hot caols on a stick

ehehe. i dont eat balut, i dunno, never really appealed to my tastebuds, i like isaw, fishballs and kwek kwek though.. bakit kaya masarap ang sauce sa mga stands kesa sa homemade sauce?

ay oo nga... bakit nga kaya? may drugs ata yun. naalala ko tuloy. isang fishball, isang sawsaw. kapag may lima kang fishball, limang beses mo siya isasawsaw. pero ngayon may lalagyanan na so isinasabaw mo na yung sauce. hehehe
