so, do you have one? or two or more? do you take on other identities be it in chatrooms, texts.... AND 'live up' to it when you eventually meet your chatmate/textmate...???

i have yet to determine how i'll post the possible answers, but pls check all that's applicable. thanks!

Hmm, I can't even call it an alter ego.  I use a different name for an additional email address that I use for stuff that I don't want to be recognized/published for, like, say, letters to the editor, or feedback -- halimbawa, gusto naming maalis yung isang host sa Extra Challenge kasi wala naman siyang natutulong sa show.  Something like that.


Or like if I write to a dorky publication like...never mind.   No more than that, though.  Nothing illegal. Just dorky. For almost everything else, there's my real name. Priceless.

With the advent of the internet and the world wide web, people have taken on different perspectives of what's real and what's not. Same with good and evil. As long as I'm not caught, it's ok. The real question to be answered though is, who are we when we're not online anymore hiding behind the guises of anonimity?

Back in the late 90s. My vname used to be Hunter,Hunter IV,Louis,Louis Hunter,Seigo,Shinkasen and loads more... most of the English and Japanese sites where i used to post messages where already burst.

I used to use pen names when I wrote for the school paper, Aquinas and Acoustic Rustle. My game name when we played network games was ground zero and in most other discussion boards that I frequent. My current persona of sublimeabsurdity is an oxymoron. But I never did hide behind a false image.

alter ego... I have one, or two or maybe three but it stays in the virtual world and is a completely different persona. I use these on online games, except one. which is still me, in a diff. name, race (human or not) and gender which I use in some of my stories.

i used to post negative comments of our local actors and actresses even their managers(manglers,i would say) and TV stations because of cheap publicities well,it's my form of escapism but since i enjoy this site so much,i dare not to give one.Y'all here are the coolest!!!
