This would test how well you know Tagalog/Filipino to English translation and vice versa.
Starting today, I'll be posting a word which you'll have to translate to the other language (Tagalog to English or English to Tagalog).
Example:
Word of the day: Aklat ==> B (Eng)
This means that the answer must be an english word that starts with the letter B.
First person to get the correct gets 1 point.
A person can only guess once per word. Please copy the question and your answer.
Posts that are not guesses will be deleted. However, if you have guessed a word, you can write an additional comment below your guess (please put a line separator). Replies that are not guesses will be deleted. This is to ensure that we can clearly see the flow of the questions and answers.
A new word will be posted everyday at random times of the day, but not before the previous word has been answered. Always check the first page for this first two posts to see if a word has been correctly guessed or not. I will not be posting announcements whenever a new word has been added. It's up to you to check this thread and see.
I already have a fixed question and answer, so though a certain Tagalog word may have several translations in English, the answer that I have will be the only considered correct answer.
You will know if your answer is correct by looking at the TALLY POST, where the questions, answers and tally scores will be posted (Page 1).
What's with the scoring system? When I have run out of words, I will be giving prizes to the top scorers, prizes to be announced later.
As much as possible, avoid editing, so that your answer won't be disputed, in case someone else posted the same answer after you.
For rules, updates and prizes, please always check here at the first page.
