i know ruffa's a great model, but can she actually host a show? sa commercial palang ng nido, naiirita na ako sa boses nya, buong show pa kaya?

what i don't like is that.. ruffa is not a model... ano naman ang ituturo niya... sana may replay every weekend para mapanood ninyo...kakatawa yung mga contestants... di ko kasi maabutan every tuesday 8:30pm...

i remember Ruffa's comment sa picture ng isang contestant... " Your posing is so BLEEAH" whatta.. anong klaseng comment yun... wala man lang natutunan yung model.. meron pa siyang sinabi.."what i like in your pose is that itinaas mo ang kamay mo at pinakita mo ang iyong kili kili" ok... that's a good one...hahahahaha

ruffa is not a model? i thought that's what she does for a living! so, if she's that BLEEAH!, who can host the show? would lucy torres give it justice?

hay.. i think Philippines is not that ready for the supermodel thingy eventhough we have a lot of model potentials in our country.. siguro.. we just need to create awareness for para ma-elevate naman yung consciousness ng Filipinos...

Ruffa might not be an 'official' model, but she did win as Miss World, and she would have taken at least the basics of modelling.. :p

I think even the america's next top model is having a problem kasi most ng nananalo hindi pa rin naco-consider na top model... sana meron ding world's top model where mag cocompete naman yung mga nanalo sa iba't ibang countries.. parang world idol..hehehehehe

Magara, T-Hate, When you buy a franchise (like Big Brother or Idol), IT IS NOT COPYING. Take note, Solar really did buy the rights to do a local version of "America's Top Model", so there.

There are 5 contestants left. Yes, i do watch it.
OK naman yung photo shoots nila.

Ruffa is trying very hard to be Tyra (the way she talks). She could might as well be the next Kris Aquino (sorry Kris A. fans). They could get Melanie Marquez to host, but i guess they'd think the show won't be taken seriously if she hosted.

they get lessons on make-up, dressing up, posing, acting, etc...
Then the best in challenges to test what the have learned wins prizes.
Likeone time they were given photos and they must look for the clothes most similar to the one in the photo in an ukay-ukay store for a budget of P300. The winner gets a shopping spree.

After those they get to have a photo shoot. Then they are jusged by that.

Ang stupid nung judge kagabi na nagturo sa kanila mag-catwalk. "walk with your own style". WHAT??!! you can't walk your own style on the catwalk! Hindi ba siya nanonood ng America's/Australia's next top model? They teach a proper way of walking on a runway!!! ay sus.

parang the look for less yung challenge. and kung sino man yung judge na yon, i hope s/he actually has the credentials to tell the contestants that. baka s/he meant personalize your walk, just like what naomi campbell and tyra banks did. (naomi "murdered" the "walk". as in she nailed it. and that's what she is known for.)

tapos na ba sya? nung napadpad ako sa rpn9 kagabi, they were showing the recap na (as in from the search, pagpili sa mga contestants, yung mga naalis).

and may gusto lang akong itanong: do those girls understand the difference between "fasting" and "dieting"? kasi nung napili na yung contestants, a couple of them said "fasting really works!" there's a whole world of a difference between the two terms.
