If you don't like the people running, you should still go to the voting centers, then just leave your ballot empty. Don't write anything, otherwise it will be voided. This is impt para makita nila yung overall voters turn-out. So you exercised your right to vote by not voting for anyone, thereby telling them that you don't think they are qualified for the position.

Will definitely go to vote.. I might even try volunteering if I have time.. Just for the experience of it. :d I know it's not a good experience, but it will definitely be interesting.

As I decide who to vote and not to vote, I'll post it here..

I'll start by saying that I won't vote for Richard Gomez. Sorry, you might be a good actor but I really don't think you have what it takes to make the laws in this country.

in the news...based on a survey, 90% of filipinos are dismayed at Pacquioa's decision to run for office. All for the same reasons: he will only be used and corrupted by politics and that he will better be in boxing than in Politics, plus the fact that he is questioned if he could make laws because of his educational background. Despite this, Pacman is saddened by this and still is pushing through saying that he does have riches and will use it to help his fellow citizens unlike other politicians who only talk but do nothing.

hmm...i am thinking that chiz is a good candidate, if only he weren't in the opposition.

Syeri I hope I don't offend you but I really hate Chiz. He just talks a lot and that 's it. I haven't seen him doing sensible stuff. Maybe, it's just me. I mean I just don't complain everything. I act.

I'd probably go with the lesser evil, as usual. I hate Philippine politics.

Cesar Montano, movie and politics should not be combine. pero wala tayong magagawa decision na yan. nope not voting for him.

no offense taken. We get to listen to his radio show sometimes when we ride taxi cabs. Chiz is knowledgable of laws which is good. Though, like i said, if only he wasn't with the opposition.

Latest News: Cesar Montano is now running as senator under the administration.

There was a topic in Unang Hirit asking if it should be in the law that candidates should have a college education to qualify them to run for office. Oscar Orbos comments that if qualifications/requirements were written in law, then the law dictates who should run and not the choice of the people. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the voter to choose the one he/she likes. If the voter chooses the uneducated, famous actor - then it's their choice.

I still would prefer they have stricter laws in the candidates that run. I still don't see the sense that people who are in custody like Gringo, Trillanes, even that official who was convicted of rape years back could still run even though they are behind bars. Are we the only country who has that?

You can register pag 18 ka sa date ng election.

I pray that Cesar Montano will serve as the first politician from the show business to actually do something in Senate. If he wins that is.

If the people who really cares for Manny really knows what they're doing, I hope na matalo siya. He'll be doing more good as a private citizen than as a "Politico".. (siyet.. just remembering the interview of Korina and Ted to Manny brings shivers..)

With Cesar, I hope he brings good. :) We all could dream big, it's up to us to make it come true is something that he once said.. I hope he still remembers that.

I wasn't able to watch that interview with Manny. What did he say that made you shiver?

Kwento sa akin, Cesar Montano was on his way to a shoot and was surprised that he was brought straight to get a COC. It was also said that they were eyeing Edu Manzano for the spot but he declined. Cesar was taken in just because of his popularity and influence.

For the movie industry's sake, I hope Cesar doesn't win or chooses not to push through with his candidacy.

I agree. I liked Joker's ad. Pichay's ad is very very funny. I don't like Lacson. He's scary.

I wouldn't vote for Loren. She sucks bigtime. Same with Coseteng and Oreta.

Ms. Syeri: When Manny was interviewed he could barely answer. And the interview was even in tagalog.

If I remember correctly, Nikki Coseteng was in the Thursday event of the UP Fair. Obviously for campaigning reasons and if I'm not mistaken she was a member of the sorority who organized the events for that day.

In a gown, I might add.
