Tennessee's Oliver Goss, the 2013 U.S. Amateur runner-up who earned low-amateur honors at this year's Masters, is turning pro, according to a report govolsxtra.com.
Goss, a 20-year-old Australian who just completed his sophomore year with the Vols, will make his pro debut this week at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn. He will be one of five players making their pro debuts at TPC River Highlands, joining former Stanford players Patrick Rodgers and Cameron Wilson, former Alabama player Bobby Wyatt and former Georgia player Joey Garber.(Série de fers)
Goss played in the Masters and the U.S. Open this season, missing the cut at the latter major championship. He earned All-SEC honors this season for the Vols, and finished his college career with two wins, nine top 10s and a program-record 71.88 career stroke average.(XXIO7 Fers)
