Kurt Angle was actually let go by WWE because he violated provisions in the WWE wellness policy. Simply put, he was taking way too many painkillers to be considered legal. Originally, Angle was supposed to take an extended break from wrestling to heal his body, and attend to his family. He changed his mind somewhere along the way.

The TNA signing was one of the industry's best secrets; absolutely nobody but TNA top brass knew about Angle's transfer until they announced it, nobody. It was that big a deal.

The truth is, Angle was not hated by the smarter wrestling fans. He was arguably the best mat wrestler in the WWE, and the smart fans know that. I loved watching him, whether he was a heel or a face.

Angle's departure from WWE seriously depletes a Smackdown roster that needed him. Still, I wish him the best.

PS: Don't knock TNA too much. They wrestle better, trust me on that.

i watched the jackyard's smackdown aftermath coverage and i've got to say, sib is a lousy host. i mean waht kind of a question was that?! wwe's policy on breast augmentation? it wasn't even funny. it was just plain rude. king bookah should have socked him...arghh! what an idiot!!!

Aww...King Booker lost. But it's only to spice up the feud with Batista. I'm gonna grab a copy of the DVD if it's released. I want to see Lita's final match. I could care less about the traditional SS matches.

With regards to TNA, they do wrestle better. I mean, they are not restricted to do moves that most WWE stars are.

I think we've seen the last of K-Fed; he may have bigger problems to handle right now.

Booker T is nearing retirement. Expect him to fade out after this feud with Batista runs its course.

TNA can't write a storyline to save its life.

WWE can't string together decent spots to save its life.
