KAI: oo nga, we need a chaperone. kasi si WING, takot sa dilim, ako naman takot sa unfamiliar place. saka we need a "guardian of morality" so we can keep things at rated PG.

Tomie: Re-Birth. this is a Japanese Horror Film. this is an entry from a Egai Sai Japanese Film Festival 2005 (tama ba ako?). one day lang ito ipapalabas (tapos na at sana ulitin pa) at Shangri-La Edsa Plaza. kasama ko si Lei, Mr. L at Oliver with special appearance of Fraggle Rock.
This movie, which is chronologically the third of a sorry series of five (Tomie, Tomie: Re-play, Tomie: Re-birth, Tomie: Another Face and – hopefully - the very last episode – Tomie: Final Chapter aka Tomie: Forbidden Fruit), This movie, which is chronologically the third of a sorry series of five (Tomie, Tomie: Re-play, Tomie: Re-birth, Tomie: Another Face and – hopefully - the very last episode – Tomie: Final Chapter aka Tomie: Forbidden Fruit)
Tomie: Re-birth boasts, in no special order of importance, a good use of location; pretty cinematography; a really inspired portrayal of Tomie Kawakami by Miki Sakai, who does an incredible job of finally capturing the true essence of Junji Ito's vision of the girl who never dies; an intricate and exquisitely structured storyline; and great choices of juxtaposition and symbology, not to mention attention to detail - when the three main male characters in the movie bury Tomie's corpse within the first 5 minutes of the movie, they chuck a Chanel carrier bag, full of designer goodies that she forced one of them to buy for her, on top of her before shovelling the dirt over!
After all, the plot at the heart of the film is intrinsically very simple – men kill Tomie, Tomie comes back, Tomie kills killers - so a lot of the elaboration is just fatuous and long-winded, not to mention unnecessary.
see?! smile pa lang yan na naka side-view!
rating:
Lahat ng naka-miss kay Tomie!! haay.. sayang hindi nyo sya nakilala! hwahahaha...
Uh, I usually like to sit in the middle of the theatre, not too close, but not too far. I still want to pay attention to what's happening on the big screen. I feel awkward watching a romantic comedy alone, or with another guy.
iLenz: Would you recommend watching a movie at Shang Cineplex? Isn't it expensive there? Do they have retractable armrests?

<<<feeling genetics expert
but it's true!! do you know why men have nipples?? because @ 4-5th week of gestation the fetus gender is of the female sex, @ the 6th week its real gender shows, hence the male and female...

Also in the cast are Anthony Hopkins and Jake Gyllenhaal, right?
I know it's coming out next year, but I am waiting for Superman Returns. Let's see if director Bryan Singer can work his magic on the "Last Son of Krypton"

At imdb.com, the user rating is 5.9 out of 10. These are submitted by ordinary people who have watched the film. But I don't believe them all the time. Just their opinion.
For those of you who make the effort to go out and watch a movie, which cinema is the best? Just asking
Have you watched in the smaller cinemas of Gateway <I think numbers six to nine> Only been inside Cinema One and Five. I try to avoid watching in theatres which can only seat less than 150 people, because the screen is not as big
In the Platinum Cinema of Gateway, they supposedly have unlimited popcorn and drinks. And you watch in a La-Z Boy chair Haven't tried it though, because it's out of my budget
