I'm not sure of the title but as i remember it's kumander awang or kapitan kidlat... He's a superhero with a yellow suit and red pair of boots, brief/belt and a red mask like the mask of zorro in banderas' movie the mask of zorro... I think his mask is covering half of his face... i think i was only 3 yrs old when i watched that particular show.... i also watch the show where Herbert Bautista, Keempee de Leon and i forgot the 3rd actor, where they turn into frogs... like the pinoy version of teenage mutant ninja turtles... i can't remember... anyway, as i remember, i used to watch "Ang manok ni San Pedro" when i was a little boy... Actually the theme song still plays in the back of my mind...

A new all female version is set to air soon

My favorite comedy gag show from back then would be Champoy. Old School Atenista hunor at its finest - Noel Trinidad, Subas Herrero and Gary Lising.

Palibhasa was made famous for the rambulan scenes at the end of each ep.

How I wish they would release DVDs of those shows

@Tora: sorry about that. re: abc 5 foreign based media company yata, but because of the rules that it can't own 100% of a media company in the Phil. meron pa ring Filipino na majority stakeholder, pero dummy company na lang if you assk me. Let's just wait and see.

dagdag mo pa ang mga sentai na ngsulputan after ng power rangers... turbo rangers, maskman, jetman, fiveman, anu pa ba? bioman!!!

Salamat sa Diyos at blocked ang Youtube dito sa PC ko sa office. Kapag ini-play ko ang vid. Siguradong aatakihin ako ng LSS.

Julio at Julia btw may not be a Japanese production but a French Canadian one. Its credits list animation studio Cinar.

Cinar is also responsible for Nighthood, an animated series based on the exploits of gentleman-thief Arsene Lupin in the 1930s.

His descendant, according to manga artist Monkeypunch is the wily Arsene Lupin III.

The original Push-Your-Luck was shown in RPN decades before GMA got the franchise and ran Whammy Push My Luck!!!

Interestingly, among the earliest Japanese IIRC drama to air on Free TV was Oshin on IBC.

The first Latin American drama to air on RP TV was La Traidora which premiered before Marimar.

Marimar is famous for changing Pinoy evening viewing habits. When it first ran also on RPN,
