Lee and I have been discussing to get the paid subscription for these forum for better services.. Sa ngayon nga lang, we can't afford it yet, (rather, we have more pressing bills) so I thought of activating the 'Community Funding' link at the bottom of the forum's home page. It's a feature of activeboard matagal na, but ngayon ko lang inactivate. So that's it, until we can (finally) pay for the monthly services of the forum, if any of you guys want to contribute, we welcome it. this is not forced ha! As it is, I like the forum naman e. We'll eventually get there (paying for the forum) but it might take some time lang.
Other way you can help if you can't donate is to click on the ads found on www.beerkada.net . just not too much though since baka ma-invalidate lang kayo at pagsuspetsahan ng click fraud :p if you just see a link/ad that looks really interesting to you, just go ahead. :)
curious lang ako... do you really have a real donor, as in hindi si L or Lei ang anonymous donor?
hirap kasi, even if people want to donate, one has to have a checking account or a credit card to help the forum. hindi pa naman masyadong uso ang ganyan dito sa pinas.
if that donor is here in the country, maybe we can just pool our money then "pay" a credit card holder to "donate" that amount. suggestion lang naman. L can put a tips jar or tin can alongside the merch he's selling at komikon. wala nang suklian pag bumili ng merch ang mga beerkadets.
hehe... ala lang. everywhere i go, naglipana na ang mga donation boxes/cans e.g. sa fastfood chains, banks, schools. shades of "konting tulong lang po, kuya"

This forum currently has a credit of $0.00. It costs at least $4.95/mo to provide gold (ad-free) service. Thanks to our most recent anonymous contributor.
The last time I checked the forum credit was almost -90.00 dollars. After using the XE currency converter, that's a little over four thousand pesos.
Thank you to the anonymous contributor, she's very generous.
