I read the first book, ARTEMIS FOWL, and it's one of my favorite young adult fiction novels :). The next book, ARCTIC INCIDENT, was also ok.
I hated the next 3 books though. Parang sobrang layo ng quality sa original :( They're ETERNITY CODE, OPAL DECEPTION and LOST COLONY. Yung 3 yun di na worth basahin pramis.
Ye, Butler is a cover last name for the bodyguards of the Fowl family. Real name ni Butler, Domovoi.
I first encountered this book when Ate Jinky gave me one for Christmas of 2005. It was the Opal Deception if I'm not mistaken. If it's going to be made a movie then that's great.
