if i have time, i just buy the ingredients and cook my meals. it's a whole lot cheaper.
sa mga fastfood chains, i ask for extra condiments in sachets. these i use at home, or mga pambaon.
hmm.. dom?? bwahaha! pag-isipan daw oh!
pag sa bahay, sa internet, save ko na muna yung mga messages. i read these offline and draft my replies, then saka lang ulit ako nago-online. sa internet shops, i try to minimax. minimize my time online while maximizing my use (eg sabay sabay open ng windows, speed reading...)

This is a heartbreaking tipid style. Sleep to save money on food? I don't think that's healthy.
I save money by buying things in bulk (toilet paper, shampoo, milk, etc.). I compare the smaller-sized item to the bigger-sized item and calculate how much it is per 250 ml (or whatever) and if I can save money by buying the bigger item, then I'll buy it.
I shop around and research before I go out. I rarely buy things that are regularly priced. I buy things when they are on sale. Why would I pay more for something that I can buy for less money at a different store or at a different time?
I rarely buy imported/branded clothing (mucha mula, ca-ching!), specially when it has its name in big, bold letters where anyone can see it. I'll wear it if they pay me. They're ripping us off. That's free advertising eh? I don't wanna make some foreign designer richer 'no? I buy Philippine-made items if I can. I still have my Pidro shirt and it's so many years old na!
I also sometimes buy generic items when it applies, like water. Water is water, right?
I practice a lot of patience when I really, really WANT something and it's beyond my budget for the meantime. I wait until it goes on sale, and voila! I save 50%!
When I really NEED (not want) something, and I don't have enough money, I ask for my advanced birthday/christmas presents from my siblings. It has two functions, first, you get the item that you REALLY NEED, and you prevent people from buying you things that you will never or can't use.

who forwarned you of the dibidibisidi guys?? astig nga yun eh, akala mo maho-holdap ka na.... then ilalabas nila ang kanilang trusty dibidi cases na may hit movie cover sa harap and porn cover sa likod.

I make/create gifts for a group of people. That way, it's personalized and cheap than buying everyone individual gifts. This applies especially on Christmas.
plan your itinerary for the day. whether nagko-commute or may wheels kayo, this will help save time, fare/ fuel expenses. also, kung may last minute aberya, eh medyo di na kayo mara-rattle ng husto. madali na lang mag-adjust.

This will help save fare.

disiplina kelangan, pero ito effective talaga. save first before you spend.
pagkatanggap ng suweldo, allowance, whathaveyous... magtabi na agad. mga 10%, safe na yun, without having to compromise your basic expenses & konting bingeing on the side.
tapos pagdating sa ipon sa bangko, instead of atm, opt for a passbook. although better if you have at least a couple of accounts. yung isa, atm. siyempre, habol pa rin natin convenience pagdating sa emergency situations.

Tapos may Go Large sila, meaning lalagyan ng sahog for 10 pesos! I think this is brilliant. Talagang tubong - lugaw!
