I expect to be disappointed. My college art org have been talking about it since last year, and first, we agree that most of the guys look like Tarsiers. But that's just one reason why I hate Michael Bay for this.

Another reason is him saying in Empire magazine, "The cartoon was amateur, this movie is amazing" (not exact words, unable to find a copy of the magazine at this time).

Next reason, the robot designs. Although I am a fan of intricacy, the robots in the movie are far from what the original designs. Bay might well be using the "Super Transforming Robots that are NOT the Transformers" as a title.

I will watch it though. Then proceed with flaming.

hindi talaga exactly gaya yung itsura sa cartoons nung nakita ko yung trailer but i'll still watch kasi i'm a major fan of the cartoons. hehehehe. sana sinama nila si Soundwave, yung decepticon na nilalabas na mga mini decepticons. hehehehehehehe. favorite villain ko siya. hehehehehe. mas astig pa nga kung nandun ung mga robots na nagigng isan 1 giant robot i.e. constructicons=devastator. hehehehehe.
I'm also a major fan of the other old school cartoons ie. visionaries, silverhawks,tigersharks, thundercats, mini monsters. hehehehehehehe. peace!!!!! biggrin

I'd rather watch GI-JOES Movie if ever it reaches the big screen. Transformers Movie is just so noisy, audio-visually.

yup i agree with you dude, iba't iba naman talaga ang adaptations ng isang director sa gagawin nilang pelikula. nakita ko yun trailer iba talaga yun mga robots kumpara sa catroon noong araw. but what the heck im sure maganda yun movie, kung ayaw nila eh di gumawa sila ng movie nila LOL

I agree. Although I would cheer on Cobra because their organization is multi-cultural. I'm getting a Cobra Insignia tattoo on my right arm in the near future.

I'm trying to find complete episodes of the visionaries. nakalimutan ko na yung mga pangalan ng mga characters but i like the hero who becomes a cheetah. hehehehe. I'm also a fan of GI Joe. My favorite characters were Stormshadow and Snake Eyes. It woul be cool if they make an animated movie of the Visionaries.
Are there any other old cartoons which you guys like? mahilig kasi ko sa mga 80's and early 90's cartoons. Fan din naman ko ng mga bago like naruto, bleach, HXH, etc.

Right on Cobra... I love em more than the Joes, to think of it, the Joes are a bit racist themselves...

SOUNDWAVE is so 80's! nobody listens to cassettes now-a-days. Perhaps they'll have Soundwave out as an IPOD with matching transforming MMC cards.

Kagepool: nakita ko na siya. sayang nga e , even though very 80's na cia, astig kasi yung role niya sa decepticons e. i remember sound waves minions defeating devastator (kinda). hehehehehe. meron din ciang counte part sa autobots pero mas astig si soundwave e.
Pareho pala tayo ng favorite characters sa GI Joe. hehehe.

I guess i just really miss the 80's cartoons. aww

I think they already did. Transformers ARMADA is pretty cool. It IS sad that the new generation doesn't know transformers. They were only introduced to it because of the movie.
