just when we think that the philippines is going down the drain (wait, we already ARE on our way there.. but i still hope we could pull ourselves out of this rut) a fiipino proved once again our engenuity by inventing a engine that can save fuel consumption by as much as 50% ( i hope i have my numbers right).. anyway, as with all filipino inventors, his invention was (at first!) snubbed by the gov't.. not disheartened (i forgot this great pinoy's name! im so sorry.. i'll research it soon) and dazzled by the offers of money by other countries, he still didn't sell his idea, for he believes that filipinos should be the first to benefit from this great enigne.. he got a lucky break.. the engine was tested abroad and proved very effective.. so now, the gov't is having a look at it.. ( im not sure what they are planning to do as of now..) other countries have already contacted our great pinoy inventor asking him for designs for their own engines.. (diesel vs gas i think) ill look up the article and post it here...
since 90's pa yata yung invention na yan... as usual walang kwenta ang ating gobyerno sa mga ganito... i heard na sandamukal na ang mga nag-aalok sa kanya... hay... walang kwenta talaga gobyerno natin...
