Where does it state that being part of the Opposition meant you were anti-government?

Fair enough, although what I really meant to say was, since when did a political party build an entire platform based on how bad the other party is, and not on any other tangible issue? If the GO's entire platform is based on the fact that they're not TU, we're all screwed if they win majority.

kakasakit ng ulo ang politics...puro siraan...counted ba as political dynasty kapag:
politician A - 2 terms as mayor
wife ni politician A - pinalitan si mayor
politician A - nagbalik pagkatapos palitan ung asawa nya
anak ni Politician A - nagbabalak tumakbo as mayor

ang sa akin lang....as long as maayos ang gawa nila..ok lang pero sana maiba naman,

wala nga namang masama sa political dynasties as long as maayos ang trabaho nila as public officials. ang masama lang dun ay hindi nabibigyan ng chance ang iba na maaaring mas magaling pa sa kanila.

Too bad the other people who make money for Makati like employees and businessmen who have offices there cannot have a say on who becomes Mayor because they're registered elsewhere or aren't even Filipino citizens

makati? sino po ba mga candidate diyan sa pagka mayor? last time i've heard lito lapid is running?

natouch naman ako sa isang ad sa tv about sa isang doctor then nag-iba siya ng profession. naging nurse dahil kelangan niyang suportahan yung family niya. then nagpunta siya sa abroad. then ang sabi dun sana sa pagbalik niya ay magkaroon ng pagbabago. then about sa pagboto yun. hayyy...

nagsorry na rin si Honasan sa ginawa niya about sa kudeta. ewan ko ba, hindi naman masama ang humingi ng tawad or magsorry, pero sa tingin ko. hindi sa panahon ngayon dapat nila ginawa yan. so... who's next?

Politicians say sorry when election time is near because they want to drum up the sympathy of the people which would then turn into votes. Ginagawa nilang tanga ang mga Pilipino. Then again, people who votes for them (polotical turncoats and others) deserves to be called stupid.

Tapos after nilang ilagay sa pwesto yung mga binoto nila, at ndi sila mapagbigyan sa mga request nila or hindi sila pakingan e magrarally sila. Dadalhin sa kalye ang mga hinaing nila. Frankly speaking, I find that the people who takes their complaints in the street are the people who are not doing anything. If the people wants change then they should strive in changing instead of complaining; as words can never change anything but actions does.

When in the first place they should have used their heads before making that ever important vote. evileye

Whether GO can be brought to court or not, the tactic that they employed was really dirty.. Di papayag ang Philo prof ko nyan.. :p

Question: If majority of the opposition wins in the senatorial race, won't that make them the 'administration'? For me, the majority is really the administration while the minority is the opposition.. That's why the minority are the so-called 'underdogs'.. Am I making any sense?

Kiko Pangilinan for being independent pwera lang si Sharon

Bakit? Ano'ng issue mo kay Ate Shawi?!?

Actually, there are more than two parties competing in the US Elections, but the other parties are so weak and inconsequential that they shouldn't even bother.

Oliver:
Thank you. You probably had the most insightful post in this thread for the past two weeks. Yes, I'm being sarcastic. Damm it, at least explain why you like him.

Lei:
Technically, no. "Administration" is defined by the political colors of the President. Of course, if the opposition wins majority control over the house and senate, that can screw up admin plans big time. Just ask Bush.

i saw the apology of Gringo last night. I thought it sounded sincere (compared to Oreta's apology). But then again, every one thinks it's an act of desperation.

Oo nga, why now when his apologies could have been aired last year the same time that he was caught? He had to endure the humiliation of going thru windows and walking over rooftops (para lang makatakas) before issuing an apology? It's crap.

Funny story: Saksi sa Double B

Mike Enriquez: Nasa linya po ngayon si Anakbayan Rep. Etta Rosales

***interview regarding the release of the names of the representative to the congress of the different party list then takes place**

Closing spiel:

Ang sabi nila : Partylist is the voice of the marginalized sector in our country. But how do we define the marginalized sectors? Ang sabi nila yun mga poor, indigent people, yung mga walang kakayahan (?) sila ang marginalized sector of this country. Pero alam ba nung so-called marginalized sector na they have this power to have a say in whatever laws that is passed in this country??? Naiintindihan ba nila..

miriam defensor suggested two criteria for choosing the right candidate:

by the way kung meron kayong suggestion na criteria para makakatulong sa pagpili ng botante, why not post it here. uggestions lang naman. wel,l we got three weeks to decide and three weeks is not that long...

biggrin

ang intindi ko kasi dati kaya ginawa yan is para tumigil na yung mga lobbying, etc. pero they were wrong. very wrong.

eto lang gusto kong malaman, what have they done. parang wala kasi.

biggrin

What's Freakin' wrong with Raul Gonzalez???!!!

just because he's back is with the administration doesn't mean he could just speak his mind. No sense of sensitivity or compassion whatsoever!!! Just plain boastful and arrogant.

Gonzales offered P10k to any baranggay capt. that will assure a 12-0 win for Team unity in the elections. He is now being investigated for vote buying. His defense, he's not a candidate who's running for any position and "pera ko yun e. marami akong pera".

That was after he carelessly commented on the death of the peace core Ms. Campbell who was killed in Benguet, saying she was careless to trek on her own. True, he had a point with that. If she wasn't alone, she may have been spared. But to say that while people are grieving for their loss is really tactless and inconsiderate.
