I had a similar dilemna while reading the manga.. Do I root for L or Light? I mean L is sooo cool.. and cute.. and Light is just too twisted.. didn't say evil.. just twisted.. :d He has his plus points din kasi.. When L died.. (yes, spoilers for those who didn't know) there was only Light (parang pang religious commercial yung sinabi ko ah..) so I kinda rooted for him.. I was impressed by how he outwitted L.. Though sometimes I like to think it's because L already liked Light (no yaoi please) in the sense that here is someone who might be his equal in terms of intellect.. hay... why did L have to die???

The end for Light was kinda anti-climactic for me.. the sick person in me thinks the alternative ending was better.. Rather, I was kinda expecting that end for Light since the beginning..

oo nga! parang there's no other way to end it.

mas gusto ko pa rin yung ending ng mga movies. dahil hindi nila pinatay si L. I don't think na kalevel nila near and mello sila L and Light. natalo lang si Light kasi he let his guard down. he underestimated what near and mello can do.

mas masaya kung nanalo na lang si Light but then again, where would be the fun in that?

sino mas naging "helpful" kay Light, si Amane Misa or si Takada Kiyomi? sino mas bagay sa kanya?

Light did not have respect for both women. He did not deserve any of them. Second Kira, Misa, aided Light more. Her clumsiness would have been a plus, (her clumsiness reveals her true kawaii-ness) if I were Light.

Felicia, do you know Battle Royale? You will see the man who played Light, Tatsuya Fujiwara. I think he's likable there.

Kagabi nalaman ko na yung friend ko pala adik sa Death Note. Nung tanungin ko siya about it, he cursed me for about 20 minutes before telling me na papahiramin niya ako ng vcd niya next time magkita kami. Kelangan ko daw mapanuod yun. Ganon pala kalakas hype ng Death Note ano? =D
