New understanding of the TaylorMade Burner ultrafast 2.0 fairway woods
Permalink

Faster, forgiving and easy to launch, the TaylorMade Burner 2.0 is the club that will take your game to the next level. A lighter weight and longer shaft allows for faster swing speeds and increased distance. . A new sleek design features a white crown and black clubface which allows you to easy align and stay on top of your game.
Technology
The TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 fairway wood features a white head and comes in 4 lofts from 15 to 21 degrees. In addition to the colour the first thing you notice is the size of the clubhead which has a large footprint, generating lots of confidence. The head is rounder and deeper than the R11 fairway and the centre of gravity has been moved lower and deeper for a higher launch, but the trajectory was still very good and it did not balloon up in the air.
The TaylorMade Superfast 2.0 Fairway promotes faster swing speed for more distance thanks to a lighter overall weight, longer shaft and new low-drag aerodynamics. The new head shape has a large address footprint and low centre of gravity to create exceptional ease of launch and longer carries. The TaylorMade R11 TP Driver features a white, non-glare crown that has been combined with a black clubface to ease alignment.
Feel and Sound
The Burner Superfast 2.0 fairway sat beautifully behind the ball and the face looked reasonably square for this type of club. The sound and feel was excellent and the tacky grip in particular helps the lovely feel from this club so we would recommend trying this out.
What the testers say about burner 2.0 fairyway wood
"To me, the TaylorMade Superfast 2.0 fairway is a modern take on the fairway woods of the late 1990s. The white, lightweight head combines with an oversized, more rounded look to produce a club that is built for distance. As a low-handicapper I preferred the R11's workability, but the Superfast 2.0 was incredible off the tee. A long, piercing ball flight that could change many golfer's decision to hit driver 14 times a round. It is a simple, well put together club that is well worth a try."
"The white clubhead on the TaylorMade R11 Irons sits well behind the ball and for me looked good. Having hit the driver I was slightly disappointed by the performance and struggled to get consistency in flight and distance. Despite that they are still good clubs and give the impression that they will seriously perform for people who click with them"
