I have often received those chain messages from friends, close friends and acquaintances and I have always treated them as such:

" (friend's name), please don't send me any chain sms/email/messages. I don't appreciate it. I hate it. And I don't care for it. You're flooding my inbox, email with useless messages. You're a good friend and I would still like us to be friends so please stop. Thanks."

The reason for such outburst was a chain message informing me that if I don't send it to X number of people my Mother would die. I literally cursed the person who sent me the message thru YM.

That message was really one bad joke! Would have been OKAY if they wrote that you'd die, but to say that it was your mother whose gonna die.... Those types of messages are really way out of line!

me too... I hate those damn chain e-mails. I mean if you were a true friend, would you send those things that can cause disaster.

It's not just the curse but the psychological impact... i mean ako minsan natatakot ako sa dilim. at dahil sa bwisit na mga images na yan at tindi ng aking imahinasyon... well alam niyo na siguro ang pwedeng mangyari.

mannn... wala naman dapat damayan ng momy. kainis nga yun...

Cyielleh: As much as we appreciate you posting the strips from Philippine Star here, I don't think THEY would appreciate it because we are hotlinking their images here... In the future, please use the attach image function, OR, save the image to your own photo sharing site (like Photobucket, ImageShack, Flickr,) or blog site. We wouldn't want to consume PhilStar's bandwidth like this. I hope you understand..
