Why is called Form 10K?

You guys probably knew that 10K is an annual report required by the US SEC. I just want to know why is it called 10K? I hear because its 10,000 words long but really.. c'mon. Or baka companies need 10,000 na capital?

Well, according to Wiki -

The name of the Form 10-K comes from the CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) designation of the form pursuant to sections 13 and 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 as amended.

but yeah, I need more than that.

Thanks Guys aww
