Oh, right - BSMath nga pala si Jimmy (I remember the strip you're referring to.) Kaya siguro siya clueless palagi, masyadong mabilis mag-process yung utak niya - para bang sa Math na he arrives at an answer but forgets the solution. biggrin

6. Is every member of the Beerkada - Glen, Alan, Bryan, Boopey, Dana, Andrea, Jimmy, Fe, Jay and Harry - an only child? I mean, I've been through all seven books and numerous strips of the comics, but there was never any mention of them having siblings.

MY ANSWERS:

THE BEST ANSWERS I COULD GIVE:

1. I'm guessing it's among these three: PAMPANGA, NUEVA ECIJA, BATANGAS, BATAAN, QUEZON. I presume it's near Manila

2. No one knows for sure, but i think it's a name that ends with -ing... u know like MILING, PACING, MIDING, TRINING, NENENG etc.

3. Jimmy is BSMath... I presume Fe is also BS Math... Jay, being a tibak, would most probably come from any degree program from the College of Arts and Letters or the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy... Harry I think is BS Computer Engineering...

4. Wild guess: BONNIE PHYLLIS??? waha

5. None that I can remember.

6. Though I'm not sure, I assume Boopey has a sibling... which may define her nephew Vernon's existence in the comic strip.

Maybe we could scratch Bataan out - if he were from that province, he wouldn't bother joining their Orani Bataan adventure (or he would at least have some stock info about that place).

So it's probably either Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Batangas or Quezon. Pero ang tanong: kung malapit siya sa Manila (in the case of Pampanga and Batangas), ba't parang tuwing Sembreak/Summer lang siya nakakauwi sa kanila? Hmmm.... That then leaves us with Nueva Ecija and Quezon...

actually ok lang ung kahit malapit sembreak/summer lang ang uwi... parang ako... tga-UPLB ako pero originally from Calamba lang ako... lyk magkatabing bayan lang... buwan ang binibilang bago uli ako umuwi ng Calamba ^_^

naisip ko cguro as far as Pangasinan pwedeng manggaling si Glenn... basta not Ilocos or Bicol... no traces of being Ilocano or Bicolano... mukha pa rin siyang Tagalog...

Pwede. Basta hindi siya lalagpas sa borders ng Pangasinan (sa North) at Quezon (sa South).

So the list includes: Pangasinan, Zambales, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Quezon. Isasama ko pa ba ang Rizal at Aurora? Masyado nang malapit yung una, puro bundok naman yung pangalawa.

Well, I just noticed that these were some very basic info we should know about them, but still don't up to now. For instance, yung nanay ni Glen appeared in the very first Beerkada comic strip ten years ago, pero up to now, di pa rin natin alam kung ano yung name nya.

Anyway, with regards to the question about the courses, I think Geostat12 has made good observations with regards to Jay being either an Arts and Letters / Philo & Soc.Sci. student and Harry as a Computer Major (I remember him creating the Loving-Loving virus). But as to Fe, I'm not sure if she's really also in Math - after all she did just meet Jimmy in a club.

So back to the province hunt - crossing out Cavite.

Well, graduate ako ng Philo/Pol.Sci. sa UP Baguio, pero di naman ako naging tibak.

As what Geostat12 stated, hindi lahat ng nanggagaling sa CAL/CSSP ay nagiging tibak, though karamihan ng tibak na kilala ko, dun nga nanggaling. biggrin

Well, we could probably scratch out Quezon too - after rereading Treskada, excited si Glen sa trip nila sa Quezon, meaning he's probably not from the place (Otherwise hindi na siguro siya sasama, o di kaya'y naging tourist guide na siguro for the gang.)

Pero sa north ba ang probinsya nya? For some unknown reason, I had a feeling he's from Batangas. If he was from the north, it's time to replan the province hunt.
